Product Description

Classically straight-sided, this 1-quart saucepan is perfect for making sauces and countless other dishes. The phenolic handles and knob are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, so the pan can be used to braise or warm foods in the oven under its tight-fitting lid. Revere's Tri-Ply cookware is made of handsome, mirror-finish, 18/10 stainless steel. Each pot or pan has an aluminum disk in its bottom to spread heat quickly and evenly. The disk is sandwiched between layers of stainless steel, so the exterior finish still offers an easy cleanup. The pan has a loop on its handle for hanging on a hook or peg, carries a 25-year warranty against defects, and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Hard to find without Amazon!

We've been looking for this item for quite some time. We had a set of these Revere pans but wanted an extra sauce pan. The size is perfect for everything from sauces to canned vegetables and sometimes having two would be a lifesaver. But we were unable to find the pan without buying the entire set again anywhere but here. The pans are wonderful and we'd be lost without them.
Perfect for Me

A solid one quart sauce pan for boiling eggs. A heavy steel bottom, comfortable handle. It's not copper clad, so it makes for easier cleaning. It should last a lifetime if you take care of it.

This item replaces a similar sized Revere Ware Saucepan. I got one for myself and one for my mother. This little pan is perfect for cooking small portions and heats very evenly and quickly. I picked Amazon to purchase this item because their shipping to Alaska isn't outrageous compared to other vendors. Bon Appetite!

Reviewer: Jason Heiss,
I've used the copper bottomed Revere saucepans forever (grew up with my mom using them too). They're great for everyday uses that don't require a heavy pan to control the heat precisely, which is nearly everything you use a saucepan for. I only pull out my Calphalon saucepan once in a blue moon. Anyway, after 10+ years I contrived to destroy my 1 quart pan by boiling it dry and forgetting about it for a while. I actually managed to get the copper for peel off. I was just going to get a replacement but saw these Revere 2000 pans and thought I'd give one a try. So far I'm quite happy with it. I haven't tried anything too finicky to see if it performs noticeably different from the copper-bottomed pans, but for the everyday tasks I generally use this pan for (heating a bit of sauce, boiling a few veggies, etc.) it works great and I don't have to worry about the copper discoloring (and then getting shiny again when I spill a bit of tomato sauce or lemon on it).
